How much does GlobalTill cost?

Prices vary and depend on industry, number of locations, number of cash lanes and support required. As a SaaS (software-as-a-service) product, GlobalTill is primarily licensed through a monthly fee. For more detailed product information and pricing, please fill out the form here.

Do I get free updates?

Absolutely. The GlobalTill backend is updated continuously and changes are deployed weekly. The POS software is updated regularly and stores are typically upgraded several times each year.

Can I buy GlobalTill without a monthly or yearly fee?

GlobalTill is cloud software and is licensed on monthly or yearly terms. We do have alternate licensing arrangements available via our Enterprise Services Team, typically for organizations with 50 or more locations.

Is there a limit to the number of users or stores I can have? Are there any fees?

GlobalTill software scales to an unlimited number of users and stores. At this time, licensing is primarily per store or per lane, not per user - so you are free to create as many users as your store may need.

Can you transfer my product and sales data from my existing POS system?

GlobalTill maintains a robust set of product import tools and in many cases your product data can be transferred without issue. Sales data is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an additional fee.

Is there a free trial?

To get the most out of GlobalTill, it typically takes time (and a bit of training) to realize the full benefits. While we don't offer a free trial, we're happy to demo the software to you and provide access to a pre-populated demo environment that you can test and evaluate after your demo.

What hardware is the POS compatible with?

GlobalTill is compatible with Windows 7 or higher, macOS 10.10 or higher and Ubuntu Linux 16.04 or higher. Printers, barcode scanners and other peripheral device support can vary based on the operating system and specific features being used.

Do you sell hardware?

GlobalTill does not sell hardware directly, however, through our network of resellers we can match your organization with one of our partners for your area that can provide a complete GlobalTill package, including compatible hardware & installation/implementation services.

Does GlobalTill work without Internet?

The GlobalTill backend requires an active Internet connection. The point of sale (POS) works in offline mode so you can continue to sell, even during an Internet outage.

Where is GlobalTill located? Where are GlobalTill's clients?

GlobalTill is located in Alberta, Canada but through our network of reseller partners we service and support clients all across Canada and the United States.

How does eCommerce work? With delivery?

With GlobalTill there is the option of using either Shopify or WooCommerce. Shipping methods can be setup for in store pickup or delivery and the data is pushed to GlobalTill for order fulfillment. Note that Shopify is subject to an additional monthly fee.
